Itinerary
Sector - Shoja & Gushaini in Kullu district

Shoja

The picturesque mountain hamlet of Shoja is located in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. At an altitude of 8800 feet, it has perfect weather for tourism in all seasons. Its beauty changes from a sunny green conifer valley, full of flowers in the summer to mist covered snow peaked, cold Himalayan village in the winters. With outstanding pristine natural beauty and stunning views, it is gradually growing into one of the main tourist centers in the state and yet retains its off-beat charm. The numerous walks and treks in the surrounding forests and meadows are a special feature of the area. While here, you can also explore the popular hill station Kullu, which is only a couple of hours away.

About a 15 hour drive from Delhi, it’s unparallel natural beauty and the amazing vistas along the journey makes it worth the while. The fast flowing Tirthan river along which this village is nestled, is famous for trout fishing. Gushaini is also ideal for exploring The Great Himalayan National Park which is a good place for trekking, rock climbing or just having a picnic in the forest. There are many outdoor activities that one can do at Gushaini. For adventurous travelers there is the option of trekking, rock climbing, fishing, white water rafting and many others.
